Live With Passion

When thinking about what to name this blog, I was really stuck. I debated song lyrics, words that could describe me, or a catchy phrase. Then I remembered that I have this keychain with the words “Live With Passion” embossed on it. I think that sums up my philosophy on life pretty accurately. I am the kind of person who believes in living for something, be it one thing or multiple things. I have never been the type to go through life uninvolved in any sort of activity or organization. I just do not see the point in living without having something to channel your energy and passion into. This philosophy applies to my life in several aspects, including ones outside of literature, but it certainly applies to my relationship with literature. I consider reading to be a deep passion of mine, and it has been since first grade. Once I began to read, I could not stop and, on most days, I would rather be curled up with a book than doing anything else. The pieces of literature we will read, in this class or just throughout our lives, are written by people who have channeled their passion into writing, therefore instilling my passion in me.
